Dennis Dyvig is a missionary pilot with Wycliffe Bible Translators currently seconded to African Inland Missions (AIM) based in Nairobi, Kenya. Denny and his wife Sue, a nurse, have served in Sudan and Kenya for over thirty years.
Rose Mayol is the Sudanese staff person responsible for supervising kitchen, housekeeping and laundry staff at the Akot Medical Mission. Rose’s husband, Paul, is a local pastor and they have five children. Her oldest son, at age 15, died of meningitis in 2007, while in another village attending school. Her daughter, Joy, also contracted the disease, was treated at the Akot Medical Mission and survived.
Francis Nyaga is a missionary nurse from Kenya serving for the past five years at the Akot Medical Mission. His wife, Naomi, and a four year old daughter, Rita, live in Kenya. Francis rotates with two other Kenyan nurses, Elijah and Samuel, each serving two months in Sudan and one month at home with their families.
