Financial Accountability

We are stewards of the mission God has given us as well as the resources he blesses us with. Therefore, we are committed to integrity and accountability in our financial practices.

We are governed by a board of directors who establish policies, approve budgets, and review operational and ministry results.

Our financial statements are prepared in accordance with accounting principles accepted in the United States and Canada for not-for-profit organizations and audited annually by independent auditors. Financial contributions are tax-deductible as permitted by local laws (the Internal Revenue Code in the United States and the Canadian Income Tax Act in Canada). Most of our administrative costs are covered by a combination of independently raised funds and volunteer contributions.

We do not rent or sell our mailing and contributor lists to other organizations, and maintain tight security and privacy on these lists.

We assure the high standards of governance and accountability through:

  • Charter membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), as shown by the ECFA seal
  • Certified membership with the Council of Christian Charities (CCCC) as shown by the CCCC seal of accountability
