APRIL 1 / MARK 14:22-52
Today we remember the pain and suffering of the cross, and all that Jesus was willing to endure, so we could be set free. He paid the price, such a great sacrifice, to offer us the gift of eternal life.

APRIL 2 / MARK 15:6-41
Thank You Lord, that we can say with great hope,
“It is finished…” For we know what’s still to come. And death has lost its sting. We praise You for You are making all things new.

APRIL 3 – 4/ 1 PETER 3:8-4:6
Our Savior has risen! We come to You, Lord, with hearts thankful for Your sacrifice.

APRIL 5 / ISAIAH 25:1-9
Lord, please bring relief to those who have suffered in any way because of the Covid-19 pandemic. May we all recover soon from its heavy impact.

APRIL 6 / DANIEL 6:1-28
Lord, we pray for the TransformNation fundraising plan initiated by the village teachers. May this help their schools achieve financial sustainability.

APRIL 7 / ACTS 4:1-17
Lord, we pray for our new site on Gapanau Island. May you open ways to provide the school with resources they need.

APRIL 8 / ACTS 4:18-37
We pray for the students of Gapanau Island who are currently studying at home. We ask for creativity and patience as they work around the limited resources available to them.

APRIL 9 / 1 JOHN 1:1–2:2
We praise you Lord for the reconciliation between one of the TransformNation (TfN) students, Karin, and her parents. May seeds of Your love continue grow in their hearts and may her whole family finally come to know You.

APRIL 10 – 11 / JOHN 20:19-31
Thank You Lord for new students who have enrolled at CI School. Bless these students with the kind of study habits that enable them do their best.

APRIL 12 / 1 JOHN 2:3-17
We pray for the plan to add two new classrooms at CI School. Please provide the financial resources to build these classrooms and may the leaders be able to manage their time and energy as good stewards of all that You have given them.

APRIL 13 / 1 JOHN 2:18-29
Lord, we ask for Your mercy for our schools that struggle to balance their finances due to the Covid-19 crisis. Please provide the help they need.

APRIL 14 / 1 JOHN 3:1-12
Lord, may your favor run through the local government in charge of taking care our schools’ licenses and permits so that we may continue to teach children in those areas.

APRIL 15 / LUKE 24:13-35
Dear God, grant our teachers an abundance of Your wisdom and joy during this pandemic. They are shaping the future in one million small, yet incredibly important, ways every day.

APRIL 16 / LUKE 24:36-53
God, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of learning for our children. We pray for the sites that still use rented buildings as schools. Bless these sites so they may grow, multiply and bless more children!

APRIL 17 – 18 / PSALM 4
Lord, please give us wisdom for the situation on Rusen Island. We ask for clarity and support from the local government to continue developing the education initiative that has been started there.

APRIL 19 / ACTS 3:16-26
We pray for Anita & Dana on Nipa Island. May they stay united with two other local teachers, and may they have the heart to welcome and love our loved ones.

APRIL 20 / 1 JOHN 3:13–4:6
Lord, please help our elementary school students on Rusen Island. Our teachers have found that many of them cannot read and count. Please give them the desire and persistence to study.

APRIL 21 / JOHN 10:1-21
We are thankful for TfN interns that serve thousands of children across the Indonesian archipelago. Please give them grace as they help students who are struggling. Please provide them with the courage to say what needs to be said, the tools and knowledge on how and when to speak in love, as well as the strength for when they feel weary.

APRIL 22 / PSALM 23
We thank you Lord that Xavier (TfN staff) has been reunited with his wife and new-born daughter. Please protect the baby’s health as their family moves around to teach students.

APRIL 23 / EZEKIEL 34:1-16
Lord, may the TfN staff & interns continue to bring life into hopeless places. May their spirits & characters inspire the local teachers & community, which will in turn result in an awakening & revival everywhere they go.

APRIL 24 – 25 / EZEKIEL 34:17-31
Lord, we lift Tina (TfN intern) who is currently serving a vocational school in her hometown, when she had felt a calling to teach in remote villages at other sites instead. May You give her wisdom and direct her path.

APRIL 26 / 1 JOHN 4:7-21
Lord, we ask that You guide each TfN student to find an equal life partner who will understand their calling and that they would live their lives serving You together.

APRIL 27 / ACTS 7:45–8:3
Lord, we pray for our vocational junior high school students at River Village. Many of them are torn between studying versus working for their families. May you give them the wisdom to find ways so that they may stay in school.

APRIL 28 / ACTS 8:4-25
Lord, we ask that while You provide us the materials to build a school on the Island of Promise, You would also bless all the construction workers so that they may continue to work from their heart.

APRIL 29 / ACTS 8:26-40
We pray for health and ultimate protection for all our site leaders, staff, teachers, and students. May they continue to love You with their hearts, souls, and minds.

APRIL 30 / JOHN 15:1-8
Lord, please give Lionel (TfN student) wisdom to appoint new leadership at the school cell group he leads, as he will be sent to serve a village school soon.
