Eight New Teachers to Impact Thousands of Children

by | Aug 9, 2021

“Congratulations TransformNation Class E graduates: Martin, Evan, Caroline, Lionel, Maria, Jessica, Samuel, and Samantha! For four years they have diligently studied in the TransformNation (TfN) program to become high quality teachers. They are now ready to go into the field where they will serve as interns for an additional four years.”

“I have had the privilege of watching them grow and overcome many challenges. I know how they have persevered, worked hard, and given their all this year. I see their love for God and their passion for kids in remote areas.  They have been great role models for the younger students and they will surely be missed. With a heart full of thanksgiving to God, and as a proud mom, I will send them out to bless the students and communities where they will serve. I have no doubt that they will bring Christ’s love wherever they go. They are ready to go out and fulfil God’s call on their lives.” – Elly, TfN Principal.

Class E would like to thank their devoted sponsors and supporters who have helped them succeed. Below are their messages and their visions:

Evan

I’m very proud to have a sponsor who prays for me, encourages me, and helps me.  I hope that I can become like my sponsor someday. My village often engages in wars and killing – I have a vision to bring peace through education.

Martin

Thank you my sponsor, for being an example of how the church serves the body of Christ.

Caroline

From grade 1-4, I was constantly being hit because I couldn’t read. I considered my elementary teachers to be evil and the greatest enemies in my life. Now, I dream of becoming a creative teacher and a local leader in my village.

Lionel

I want to give thanks to our Lord for the goodness of my sponsor’s heart, for their faithfulness in praying for me and helping me financially. Truly, I am unable to repay their kindness, except that I will do my best to teach children.

Maria

I am blessed by the way my sponsor loves me; therefore I want to serve children who have been abandoned by their parents, children who feel they aren’t loved, aren’t wanted, and aren’t cared for by anyone. I want to care for them and to love them as if they were my own. My vision is to start an organization that will finance a dorm for them.

Jessica

I dream of a ministry where I would travel around to various areas with the people God has entrusted me with. The ministry would include teaching, sharing God’s love.

Samantha

I want to give thanks to the Lord for His kindness and His loving faithfulness in bringing me to TfN and helping me to finish my studies. My dream is to become a teacher who transforms the lives of the children I serve.

Samuel

I want to thank my sponsors for their support and prayers. Through the TfN program, I’ve been shaped into someone who has a clear goal. I want to be an educator for children who would otherwise never have experienced the education they deserve.
