My trip to Texas in September was a good one with much to be thankful for.

“I have given you the power to trample on snakes and scorpions…”

Well, that verse from Luke 10:19 sure came to mind while working alongside my good friend, Roy Burson.  As I turned over a rock, I came face to face with a scorpion ready to pounce.  Good thing Roy is a man of action with much experience in these areas because he stomped on it without a second thought.

I spent 10 days in Texas divided between Austin, Fort Worth and Dallas.  There I had the opportunity to share the work of Mustard Seed to numerous new contacts, small groups, a school and two new churches.  It is always a privilege for me to share the work and experience fresh excitement about what God is doing in Southeast Asia.  I am looking forward to further growing these new relationships!
