Tuesday January 01 2019: Joshua 24.1-15 Praise God for bringing us into a New Year! May we fully commit to the plans & purpose He has for us.
02: Joshua 24.16-28 New beginnings are a blessing from God. May our students not only set new goals for themselves, but achieve them.
03-04: Isaiah 60 Pray for our children’s home, Slippery Rock. The community surrounding the school has been poisoned by drugs & immoral living, requiring determination for the children to stay resolved & to be safe.
05: Psalm 72 Pray for Slippery Rock as they add on to their church building. May they have enough resources & stay safe in the midst of the surrounding community.
Sunday 06: Matthew 2.1-12 TfN students & teachers are participating in their annual seminar week. Pray that the preparations & presentations go smoothly.
07-08: Isaiah 42 Pray that the children have a good understanding & application of cooperation skills they are being taught.
09-10: Isaiah 43 Dorm life is not easy. Pray that the children are able to work together & be kind to one another.
11: Matthew 2.13-23 Pray for the students, teachers, volunteers at M Youth Centre. May they have good health.
12: Psalm 29 Pray for the three camps that M Youth Centre is planning to host in the coming year. May it be a blessing to all who attend.
Sunday 13: Luke 3.15-28 Pray that M Youth Centre is able to get the support they need to continue their center & to run the upcoming camps.
14: Luke 6.20-31 Pray for the start of TfN’s third term. May the students feel well rested & eager to learn.
15: Hosea 2.14-23 Praise God for the harvest is plentiful on the Island of Promise. We have access to many children who have been waiting to be loved, sought after & taught.
16: Isaiah 61 Thank God for our generous donors who give as God has placed in their hearts.
17: Isaiah 62 Thank God for our prayer partners. We serve a miracle working God. Indonesia shall be saved!
18: Luke 9.18-27 Thank God for every student who has been carefully chosen to be part of the TfN. May they fulfill their calling.
19: John 2.1-12 Pray for isolated communities to be open to Christian education & an outpouring of God’s love.
Sunday 20-21: 1 Corinthians 12 Pray for MSI supporters who are facing financial challenges. May God bless them as they have blessed others.
22: Ephesians 2.11-22 Pray that the needs of MSI field workers & leaders, big or small would be met by the Lord.
23: Ephesians 3 Thank God for the MSI board & leadership team. May they continue to faithfully steward what God has entrusted them with.
24: Isaiah 65.15-25 Pray that MSI would expand to new areas of influence that have not been touched by education.
25: Galatians 2.11-24 Pray for our students. May they be men & women of integrity & honor.
26: Ezekiel 37.15-28 Pray for the children of our field workers who may feel as though they have to share their parents with other children. May God give them strength & understanding.
Sunday 27: Luke 4.14-30 Pray for students who have lost one or both parents. May they turn to our ever present Father in heaven.
28: Nehemiah 8.1-18 Ask God to fill the void of students who feel lonely. May they be blessed with healthy & fruitful relationships.
29: 1 Corinthians 12.31-13.13 Pray that God would open doors & hearts that have been hardened towards Christians in Indonesia.
30: Jeremiah 1 Pray the students would thank God for their God-given abilities; singing, dancing, music & arts. May they glorify God.
31: Psalm 71 Pray that our TfN students would be bold witnesses across the earth.
