Meet Siela, one of our heroes in the front lines. She is a 19-year-old second year student in our “TransformNation” leadership training program and is ready to go back to her home village upon graduation and make a difference for Jesus in the lives of lots of kids.
I come from Timor, and I was born into a Christian family. I'm the oldest of two siblings. My sister is already married. Although I was born into a Christian family, I didn’t know who Jesus was. It in Sunday school when I began to learn to love Jesus. But when my father passed away when I was in 10th grade, I hated Jesus because He took my father away. Over time, I began to understand that God had a plan for me.
I never thought I would be able to go to university. Now, I thank God because He has sent me to meet remarkable and good people.
My motivation to become a teacher is because I want to change the world, and I can start by helping the children in my own village. My dream for Indonesia is that Indonesia will be better and the people will know God.
I feel very happy that I can greet the people who support Mustard Seed, and I'm dreaming of meeting you in real life. To me, the donors are truly incredible.
I am asking for prayer for my studies so I will succeed and not disappoint Mustard Seed, because for me, the courses are quite difficult. Please pray for my mom too, that she will be strong.
