We are excited to welcome (from left to right) Ellen, Susan, Neil, Wanti, Abigail, Maggie, Natasha, Cammie, Vani, Bidya, and Freda to the TfN program.

After a rigorous recruitment process of hundreds of applicants, these eleven students were chosen. Known as “Class J,” they originate from the Papuan Highlands, Kumbang, the Island of Promise, Sulawesi, and Sumatra.

During their first week, they were tasked with introducing themselves for five minutes. Many of them share similar backgrounds: parents who are farmers or who sell food on the street, loads of siblings, a school experience which was less than ideal. They also shared why they joined TfN and what they think a good teacher should be like. We thank God for sending these new trainees.
