Our Gift to Humanity is Transformative Education

We believe in serving and equipping indigenous people to become leaders in their homeland. We believe in supporting local educators as partners in transforming villages.

Nita lives with her family in a remote village in Southeast Asia. Years ago, she decided to serve the community there, far away from the place she was born. This village is not an easy place to live. Far away from modern facilities, water is scarce. When she arrived, most of the villagers couldn’t read. Although she had only graduated from elementary school, that didn’t deter her from teaching the people.

So Nita opened a classroom and started teaching children. With her husband, Jim, she initiated farming to help people sustain themselves. Her yard was full of vegetables and livestock. Children started to come and learn from her. She took them all under her wings, giving them love, patience, comfort, knowledge and an understanding of how valuable they are in the eyes of God. From this one school, love and kindness spread to many children and families. One seed planted grows into a tree that bears fruit with many more seeds.
