JANUARY 1 / ECCLESIASTES 3:1-15Lord, thank You for a New Year! We pray for all MSI donors who support this work. May 2023 be filled with joy, peace, health, and prosperity. May they live each day in the coming year in the most loving ways, using their lives to serve all who are in need.

JANUARY 3 / 2 CHRONICLES 6:1-21We pray for Jonathan (TfN intern) who needs a motorcycle to support his ministry on Nipa Island.
JANUARY 4 / 2 CHRONICLES 6:22-42Lord, we lift up the children under the care of Slippery Rock Children’s Home. Many of them are sick and two of them have broken arms and feet. May the Lord guide and provide for Pastor Sani & Elka to take care of them well.
JANUARY 5 / MATTHEW 2:1-12Lord, we ask that You bless the development of the teachers’ dorm on Gapanau Island, and the process of the school’s operational permit.
JANUARY 6 / ISAIAH 43:1-13We are grateful, Lord, that there is peace in Harta’s village (TfN alumnus) from the tribal wars in Papua. They have finally finished building the foundation for the future school.
JANUARY 7-8 / ACTS 8:4-25We pray for students in Anita’s class (TfN intern) as many of them have severe skin diseases that cause itchiness and disturb their concentration.
JANUARY 9 / LUKE 3:1-17Lord, Blessing Preschool needs to build a fence to protect the children. Please move people to fulfill this need.
JANUARY 10 / LUKE 3:18-38Lord, we lift up James (TfN intern) who feels overwhelmed in disciplining his students who are stealing and getting into mischief.
JANUARY 11 / ISAIAH 62Thank you, Lord, for answering Evan’s prayer (TfN intern). He feels called to start Christian education in his village to serve teens and youth. Please pray for his vision.
JANUARY 12 / 1 CORINTHIANS 12:1-11Please pray for Vano (TfN intern) who is suffering from allergies and severe itchiness while serving children in the Papuan Highlands.
JANUARY 13 / JOHN 2:1-12Give thanks to God for increasing TfN students’ hunger for learning more about His Word each week.
JANUARY 14-15 / HOSEA 2:11-23Lord, we bring each TfN student, intern, and alumni before you today. May they seek to build a loving relationship with You as their source of strength.
JANUARY 16 / LUKE 6:20-36We pray for Martin who is designing and implementing a new subject focusing on local culture for the school in the Papuan Highlands. The class covers local language, history of the tribes, and its positive values that the children can learn from.
JANUARY 17 / AMOS 5Lord, we give thanks to You for the growth of CI School. More than 40 teachers serve 300 students. Please open doors for them to build more classrooms and washrooms.
JANUARY 18 / NEHEMIAH 8Please pray for Elisa (TfN intern), who is worried about her family who lives far away from her.
JANUARY 19 / PSALMS 131-132We praise God for the children under the care of Seeds of Hope Children’s Home. They are praying to have a school bus to reduce transportation fees.
JANUARY 20 / PSALMS 133-134Let’s pray together with TfN students from Class G who are preparing for a mission’s trip to serve a community on Celebes Island.
JANUARY 21-22 / LUKE 4:14-30Praise the Lord that the husband of Wiwik (MSI Site Leader) is getting better and recovering from his illness.
JANUARY 23 / EPHESIANS 4:1-16Please continue to pray for the family of Netia (TfN trainee) to receive God’s love.
JANUARY 24 / ACTS 9:1-22Lord, we pray for Paul (TfN intern), who is in doubt and confused in deciding his next step in ministry.
JANUARY 25 / 1 TIMOTHY 6:6-21Lord, thank you for the new solar panel installation on the teacher’s dorm on Gapanau Island. It helps the teachers work efficiently with stable electricity.
JANUARY 26 / TITUS 1Lord, we bring every leader at our MSI sites to You. May they fix their eyes on You, be refreshed by the Holy Spirit, and receive strength to press on through challenges.
JANUARY 27 / JEREMIAH 1Lord, thank You for answering our prayers. The school building and new playground on Gapanau Island are ready to welcome more children.
JANUARY 28-29 / 1 CORINTHIANS 12:31b – 13:13We pray for TfN trainees who are learning about priorities and how to manage their time better.
JANUARY 30 / PSALM 71Lord, help Nina, Antonio, and Tori (TfN trainees) who are learning about self control and how to surrender their emotions to Christ.
JANUARY 31 / ISAIAH 6Lord, we lift up MSI site leaders to You. May they trust You in every circumstance and challenge they face.
