April 2017 Prayer Calendar

April 01-Sunday 02: John 11.1-44 Praise God for Pastor Santosa as his congregation continues to grow to the point that they can no longer fit in their current building. Pray for the resources needed to build a new building for the church.

03: Psalm 117 Praise the Lord that His loving kindness is great & His truth is everlasting.

04: Psalm 118.14-29 Pray for those who have dedicated their lives to tell of the works of the Lord in Southeast Asia.

05: Matthew 21.1-17 Pray that Jesus would be welcomed & honored in every city and village where Mustard Seed ministers.

06: Isaiah 50 Pray that Christ’s disciples, who are on the mission field, would have a word to sustain the weary.

07-08: Isaiah 52.1-53 Pray for the TransformNation teachers-in-training, as they go to the most difficult, least reached areas of this nation to bring good news & education.

Sunday 09: Philippians 2.1-11 Pray for salvation amongst our students & children.

10-12: Matthew 26 Please pray for the TransformNation students who are finishing their thesis & will be sent out as teachers in July.

13-15: Matthew 27 Pray for a revelation of what Jesus did on the cross to bring transformation in the lives of many this Good Friday.
Easter Sunday 16: Matthew 28.1-15 Pray that the resurrection power of Christ would be experienced by all this Easter Sunday.

17: Psalm 76 Please pray for the health of some of the TransformNation staff who have fallen ill.

18: 1 Peter 1.1-16 Please pray for the children in villages all over Southeast Asia who will soon receive life changing education.

19-20: Proverbs 8 Pray for the Kids Who Care team (nine teenagers & three adults) traveling to the Slippery Rock children's home today.  Pray for God's protection over them & that they would be a blessing to the children at the home.

21: Proverbs 9 Please pray for God to pour His love in & through the Kids Who Care team as they serve at the Slippery Rock children's home. Pray for grace & joy for the leaders at the home as they bear the weight of hosting the team. 

22: Psalm 16 Please pray for the Kids Who Care team & the children of Slippery Rock as they spend a day together at the beach today!  Pray for God's protection over them, for good weather & for delightful memories to be made.

Sunday 23: John 20.19-31 Pray for the church in Slippery Rock as they celebrate Easter today, one week late, because of their desire to include the Kids Who Care team.  Pray for a glorious celebration & for safe travels home for the team.

24: Ephesians 4.1-16 Please pray for the pastors & teachers who are equipping the saints for the work of service in Southeast Asia.

25: Mark 16.9-20 Pray against all doubt, unbelief & hardness of heart amongst our students.

26: Acts 2.22-39 Pray for foreigners serving overseas in partnership with MSI, that they might have greater fluency in language so they can communicate more deeply & meaningfully with people.

27: Psalm 116 Please pray for Linda, an MSI team member who turns 75 today!  She has courageously chosen to serve in a very challenging area of the country & is due for a break.  Pray as she prepares for a time of leave home in the United States.

28: 1 Peter 1.17-2.3 Pray that our students would crave pure spiritual milk so that by it they may grow up in their salvation.

29: Luke 24.13-35 Please pray that our staff & students would recognize the presence of Jesus in their everyday lives.

Sunday 30: Isaiah 30.8-26 Pray for MSI staff to build better relationships with trainee teachers so that they can point them to Jesus more effectively in their particular circumstances.
