September 2018 Prayer Calendar

September 01: Mark 7.1-23 Thank God for Arti & Dadang’s children & their successful school results.
Sunday 02: Psalm 45 Pray for Arti & Dadang’s eldest son to receive a scholarship & get his masters in automotive engineering.
03: Songs 1.1-2.1 Praise God for Arti & Dadang’s second son who is taking part in an internship program on the other side of the country. Pray that he would be kept safe.
04: Songs 2.2-3.5 Pray for children who face the challenge of learning how to follow Christ when their parents do not take their faith seriously.
05: Songs 3.6-5.1 Thank God for the generous hearts of our donors. May they be blessed & encouraged.
06-08: Songs 5.2-8.14 Pray that every person who is engaged with teaching, learning, administration, or any facet of TfN would be a benefit to the growth in each student they encounter.
Sunday 09: Mark 7.24-37 Praise God! Slippery Rock has received a certificate of legal accreditation at a flag ceremony at the mayor’s office.
10: Mark 8.1-21 Thank God for his provision. The kitchen at Slippery Rock is finally in use after months of preparation. There is still some work to be done, still join Pastor Sani thanking God for the help received.
11-12: James 2.1-3.12 Pray for the expansion of the church building at Slippery Rock to accommodate its growing congregation.
13: Proverbs 22.1-23 Pray for MSI’s leadership team on the field. May the Holy Spirit refresh them & fuel them with passion in all they do.
14: John 19.17-30 Pray for good health for MSI’s office staff & board members.
15: Esther 9.20-10.3 Pray that those who hear the teaching of God’s word would be challenged to live like Christ.
Sunday 16: Proverbs 1.20-33 Pray for a safe & successful school year for all our students, staff & teachers.
17-18: James 3.13-5.6 Give thanks to God for all the prayers we have seen him answer.
19-20: Psalm 53.1-55 Thank God for his unwavering protection over MSI leadership, field workers, students & teachers.
21: Mark 2.13-22 Thank God for he makes a way when there seems to be no way.
22: Isaiah 66 We are grateful for our faithful sponsors who make it possible to train Christian leaders from under-resourced communities.
Sunday 23: Mark 9.30-50 As we gather to worship today, remember Mustard Seed workers in prayer. The adversary prowls about.
24: James 5.7-20 Mustard Seed's TransformNation leader is coming to Toronto, ON Nov 1-7 & Austin, TX Nov. 8-13. Pray for speaker invitations in churches & supporters homes over these dates.
25: Psalm 123.1-124.8 Ask God for the name of someone with whom you can share Mustard Seed news.
26: Numbers 11.21-35 Two girls have been selected from the Island of Promise to attend high school at CN Academy. Pray they'll find comfort in their ‘big sisters' at the TfN girls dormitory.
27: Nehemiah 5.1-19 At Victory Place, over 50 varieties of crops are growing & our next-generation teachers are taught to be financially independent by transforming farming skills into entrepreneurship. Praise God for his harvest.
28: Revelation 12 Praise God for the ability of expatriates to raise their own support.
29 Sunday 30: Daniel 10.4-12 Compared to other nations, Indonesia’s education system ranks near the bottom. Pray for the government’s resolve to endorse education that benefits their youth.
