Unity in Diversity

by | Aug 16, 2021

“August 17 is Independence Day in Indonesia. Traditionally, this day is celebrated with a parade showing cultural outfits. People in cities and villages usually gather in the streets and participate in traditional folk games. It’s the day where communities get together and celebrate diversity. Unfortunately this year because of the pandemic, these activities are absent in most places, including in MSI’s schools.”

As a way to celebrate the day, our children from different tribes would like to say hi to you. Let’s unite our hearts together to pray for them. In the midst of rising cases of Covid-19 may God guide the Indonesian people to navigate through this challenging season. May our students and teachers soon be able to safely celebrate the joy of unity.
