We were so encouraged by a team visiting from the community where I grew up.
They were so ready to go to a children’s home to put on a VBS for the orphans, lead a Sunday school teacher training workshop, lead a workshop for local church leaders, and visit a village way up in the mountains to lead the children in a VBS.
It was a special honor for me being the first guest from “outside” to be invited into the village elder's home. Later, this elder told our site leader that any children from his village who wanted to go to school would be allowed to live with our site leader and participate in the activities of his children's home. This includes learning about our loving Father!
