2020 Graduation Ceremonies

“And whoever welcomes one child like this in my name welcomes me.” Matthew 18:5

Serving children is the heart of Mustard Seed. Our field educators are doing their best everyday to ensure that the children feel they are valued. This June, Mustard Seed schools are celebrating graduations. Undoubtedly, our students deserve to feel special on their graduation day. It’s a day of blessing and celebration as our students transition into the next season of their lives with hope and expectation.

Each year we have graduations to recognize and appreciate our students' achievements. However, this year is different with Covid-19 cases on the rise in areas where we serve and all schools not permitted to hold graduation ceremonies. Despite extensive preparations, one of our schools was forbidden from having their celebration. In tears, the teachers extended an apology to their students by sending a video through social media. At another school, the teachers prepared a “drive through” graduation at the gate of the school. A few fortunate schools were allowed to have graduation ceremonies while practicing social distancing.

Watch below the compilation of videos to see how Mustard Seed schools celebrated graduation in the midst of Covid-19. Please pray that these children will continue to grow in character and values that truly matter.
