Sunday, December 01: Romans 13.8-14 Ask the Lord to strengthen those who are weak and weary today. May the joy of the Lord be their strength!

02-03: Romans 14 Pray for protection for those serving in Papua. May they bless those who want to disrupt their work!

04: Romans 15.1-13 Praise God for the new schools that have recently opened and the children that are now receiving a quality education!

05-06: Isaiah 11-12 Pray for Jim and Nita, who serve a remote area where many adults cannot read or write and animistic beliefs are practiced. May they have wisdom to inspire academic and spiritual advancement in this community.

07: Matthew 3.1-12 Thanks be to God for Dean who is now overseeing the first four years of the TfN program! Please pray for an easy transition into his new role.

Sunday 08-09: Isaiah 40 Pray for Pastor Santosa & Leah, who are parenting children and teens from remote villages. May they have grace and wisdom to navigate through various challenges.

10: James 5.1-14 Praise God for the TfN Saturday morning bible study that is flourishing! They are now able to start training TfN students to become bible study leaders. Please pray for wisdom in which students to select for this role.

11-12: Acts 15.1-35 Please pray for Rasi and Lelly who have been displaced from their home as a result of unrest where they live. May they have patience and wisdom to know their next steps.

13: Psalms 146 As the second term of TfN comes to a close, please pray that the students would retain all that they have learned.

14: Matthew 11.1-19 Please pray for Yusuf and Rosa who are now overseeing Seeds of Hope Children’s Home. May they sense the Lord’s leading in all they do.

Sunday 15: Isaiah 35 Please pray for Lloyd, Grace and their children who will be travelling home for an extended furlough.

16: 2 Chronicles 26 Please pray for TfN students who are feeling discouraged by their progress this term. Pray that they would seek their identity in Christ first and then work diligently to improve in their studies.

17-18: 2 Chronicles 28 Please pray for Anton and Sinta as they reach out to the youth in their community through gatherings and bible studies. May God’s love shine brightly through them.

19-21: Isaiah 7-8 Please pray that this Christmas break would be a time of refreshment for TfN staff members who are feeling weary after a challenging term.

Sunday 22: Matthew 1.18-25 Please pray for our international directors who will be sharing the work of Mustard Seed with a congregation in the US today.

23: Isaiah 9.1-7 Please pray for the TfN students who are unable to return home for Christmas. May they sense God’s closeness as they are missing their loved ones.

24: Luke 2.1-21 Let each of us take the opportunity to pause & reflect on Jesus. May we not be so consumed by festivities that we lose focus on the real reason we celebrate.

25: Hebrews 1 Merry Christmas! Thank the Lord for sending His Son! May we share His love with everyone that we encounter today.

26: Acts 6.8-7.2 Please pray that as our staff and students spend quality time with family and friends, Christ would shine through them.

27: 1 John 1.1-2.2 Please pray for field worker, Wren, who suffers with chronic pain. Pray that his doctors would be able to pinpoint the source of his pain and that he would receive a healing touch from the Lord.

28: Isaiah 63.1-14 Please pray for those who have experienced loss in 2019, that they would receive comfort and hope from the Lord.

Sunday 29: Hebrews 3 Please pray that Eric and Hannah would continue to trust God and persevere in faith as they desire to have children.

30: Psalms 149-150 Please pray for MSI’s long-term planning committee who will be meeting to strategize over the next few days. May they have wisdom and understanding from the Lord!

31: Numbers 6.22-27 Thank the Lord for all He has done in 2019 and all He will do in the year ahead!
