2025 GO THE DISTANCE CHALLENGE
In remote villages of Indonesia, small children walk for hours to reach the nearest school, with no guarantee that a teacher will be present. Thanks to the Go the Distance Challenge, schools are being built and teachers are pioneering education.
The 2025 Go the Distance Challenge raises funds to connect underprivileged and marginalized children in Indonesia with life-changing education. All funds raised will be used to help provide scholarships for underprivileged children, build more classrooms, and send teachers to remote islands.
This summer, a Mustard Seed team from North America is visiting Indonesia to witness the work on the field and meet teachers, students, and communities impacted by your generosity.
Join us in the Go the Distance Challenge to help provide scholarships for children in need, send Christ-centered educators, and build classrooms in remote areas.

What is the goal of this fundraising initiative?
The 2025 #GotheDistance Challenge raises funds to connect underprivileged and marginalized children in Indonesia with life-changing education. All funds raised will be used to help provide scholarships for underprivileged children, build more classrooms, and send teachers to remote islands.
Why Indonesia?
Indonesia is home to 64 million children between the ages of 0-14. There are educational challenges due to populations scattered across 17,000 islands. Quality teachers are lacking, especially in remote areas. There is great opportunity to train local teachers to bring transformative Christian education to children and communities in need.
Why Christian Education?
We believe that the most effective way to reach out to children, set them free from poverty, and share the knowledge of God is through great teachers.

TRANSFORMNATION ALUMNI SCHOOL
Completion of the School Building
TransformNation alumnus Harta has achieved a remarkable milestone with the completion of a village school in the remote Papuan Highlands. This school, a testament to Harta's dedication and vision, now serves as a beacon of hope and opportunity for the local community. Already, students have begun their educational journey within its walls, marking the start of a brighter future for the children in this isolated region. The school not only provides a space for learning but also stands as a symbol of how education can transform lives and empower communities.
SUMBA SCHOOL
Two classroom expansion and a new building Construction
In another exciting development, Mustard Seed's school on Sumba Island is undergoing a significant expansion to meet the growing needs of its students. This includes the construction of a new building and the addition of two more classrooms. The two new classrooms are already in use, providing a much-needed space for children to learn and grow in a more conducive environment. These improvements will not only accommodate more students but also enhance the overall quality of education offered at the school.
