WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CHILD OF GOD
By Jason, Grade 7

Today I want to share with you a message that is close to my heart. A message that reminds me of who I truly am:“I am a child of God.”

Being a child of God means that I am deeply loved, no matter my challenges or mistakes. God’s love is constant and never changes. It also reminds me that every person has immense value, including me.

Being a child of God also means that I am part of a family that goes beyond the people around me: God’s family. In Him,I can find guidance, comfort, and strength. I am never truly alone. This identity shapes how I live. It inspires me to show kindness, patience, and understanding. It reminds me to see the best in others and recognize their value.

Even when I face setbacks, I remember that I am capable of growth and change. Challenge doesn’t determine my worth, God’s love does. Every step I take, I see God’s goodness and strengthen my connection to Him.

The Bible reminds us of our identity as children of God. This truth encourages us to live in His light and have confidence in who we are in Christ. I hold this truth close to my heart: I am a child of God. This gives me strength to live with faith and to reflect His love in my words and actions.I am loved, I am guided, I am worthy, I am a child of God.

Thank you, and God bless.
