In July 2025, TransformNation (TfN) interns from Class E officially completed their 8-year journey. Here are their testimonies of how God has shaped and transformed their lives along the way.
CAROLINE
For the past four years, I’ve been teaching in a remote mountain village in the Papuan Highlands. I was the only teacher sent by TfN, and the journey hasn’t been easy. I faced loneliness and difficult students. When I came, they didn’t know how to pray and regularly spoke unkindly. I didn’t know how to influence them so I turned to God. I poured my heart out to Jesus by journaling. Slowly, I saw that their hearts began to change. Children started praying, memorizing Bible verses, and even non-believers began to know God. With only a few teachers and limited classrooms, our school pressed on. Today, I’m filled with gratitude. This is not because of my strength. It’s all because of God. He is faithful, and these children are becoming who He created them to be.
My prayers:
Please pray for the school that I serve, that God would send more teachers, provide two additional classrooms, and give wisdom to the leadership team.
EVAN
I once lived without direction, unsure of who I was, or where I was going. But through the TfN program, everything changed. I found purpose, vision, and faith. God used this program to shape me through the teaching, the mentors, and the community. He called me to serve children through education, and although the road has not been easy, I have seen His hand every step of the way. Teaching in a remote area brought both challenges and miracles. I have seen lives transformed and young children learning to read, write, and know Jesus. I am especially thankful for the donors who made this journey possible.
My prayers:
I have a vision from God to bring peace to Papua through non-formal education. Tribal conflicts and dark forces have gripped and caused deep wounds in my Papuan community. Pray for wisdom and strength to make this vision real. I believe that the power of Jesus brings healing, opens doors, and transforms lives.
MARTIN
Eight years ago at TfN, I met Jesus personally and began a new life. That moment changed everything. Through TfN, not only did I gain education and leadership skills, but I came to truly know Christ and grow in faith. God used those times to shape my heart, plant strong convictions, and prepare me for a life of service.
Teaching in remote villages has been challenging, with so many spiritual battles and physical hardships, but I have seen God’s power and faithfulness at every step. I am grateful for every spiritual blessing I received, and I thank the donors who made this journey possible. Your obedience and generosity changed my life. I carry your love and prayers with me into my next assignment.

Please pray that more lives will be reached and that I remain faithful in serving and glorifying God. May the Lord continue to use me to help children and adults come to know Jesus.
