Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom 2 Corinthians 3:17.
“Youth Explosion Borneo, 2014 was an amazing event! God poured out in abundance in every way.
Our multicultural team of 19 people from four different countries, many of whom had not previously met, functioned in unity and purpose with one another accomplishing their part with passion.
When the participants arrived they received a gospel bracelet made by our teachers-in-training. These bracelets were used during the soccer and music clinics to present the gospel to all who attended. For two days, the entire campus was active with 84 students rotating through soccer stations. Fifty music students separated into small groups to learn vocal, guitar, keyboard and drums. Seven coaches attended the coach’s clinic.
Friday evening, when the youth rally was to start, it was pouring down rain and we did not know if the event would happen. Amazingly, 160 youth arrived from surrounding villages and the rain stopped. After a spirit-led time of worship, our national team-mate shared the Gospel and 55 students responded as first time believers. There were many heartfelt tears at the altar.
By noon on the second day, all the clinics were finished and the students were overjoyed to receive T-shirts, certificates, and gospel-message cards. Their schools also received soccer 
balls, cones and a coaching manual with DVD.
For the second evening youth rally, it was dry and the tent was packed! Worship began slowly but then erupted into a throng of jubilant teems jumping up and down praising Him! The evening ended with another 25 students responding to an invitation to receive Christ and many others came forward to receive prayer and for Christian service.
Now the good work begins: discipleship and mentoring. We gave discipleship books and the commitment cards to our site leader to be distributed among area pastors.
It was truly a “Youth Explosion”! “Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Freedom” 2 Corinthians 3:17.
